Mark Appleford treats patients using TuiNa at Anicca Praxis, Frankfurt

For the past few months Mark Appleford of Living Health has been regularly visiting Anicca Praxis in Frankfurt to help people with a variety of musculoskeletal issues using his extensive practical and theoretical knowledge and skills of Tuina, Chinese medical massage.

Anita Praxis is a well established Chinese Medicine clinic run by Kai Uwe Jettkandt with more than 20 years of practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine. When Mark asked me to join him on his trip to get a feel for Frankfurt and see where he treats his patients it didn't take me long to book my flight.

Mark usually comes for four or five days at a time, once per two months and is the generally fully booked on his clinic days, treating somewhere between 20-25 patients on average. This time round he, however, booked some time off in between to spend a day wondering around the city with me.
